My Heart For Haiti!

HAITI! 

I have the privilege of going back to Haiti this summer and I couldn't be more excited! 

I am excited about the adventure, the unknown, what God is going to do, to see my Haitian babies, to be hot, muddy and sweaty and I'm excited about getting on an airplane -- and that's scary because I HATE planes. It's just what getting on a plane means that gets me so excited! 

Two years ago when I went to Haiti I was nervous, scared out of my mind, and had no idea what to expect. Now, I'm going with so much joy in my heart and anticipation for what God is going to do. It's going to be BIG! 

We will only be there for 8 short days so it's very important that we make use of our time. But we have been preparing for this trip since we left Haiti two years ago. We've been in constant contact with Pastor Steve (Haitian pastor in Bombardopolis). And Pastor Steve has been scoping out what needs to be done next! Our biggest desire is to get a water well built! I cannot wait to see the day that happens. In the meantime, we are building trust with the Haitians, loving on them, teaching them health education, mentoring the local pastors and sharing in the joy of Jesus!! There's so much to be done in 8 days!! 

BUT in order for me to go, I have to raise roughly $2000! I'm asking if you're willing to partner with me in the long run. Missions is something big on my heart and it's something I hope to do for the rest of my life! While I'm still in school, I hope to continue to go on trips each summer. But I cannot do it without YOU! Prayer is so, so powerful and key to life. So, that's important. And I'd love to pray for you as you pray for me! Shoot me your requests. 

And in terms of finance, things cost money unfortunately. But, every penny makes a difference.
