boldness. & vulnerability.

You're big. You're real. You're good. 

I know it. I gotta cling to it. 

It's hard though.

We have our own set of hopes, desires, and dreams. 

Sometimes they match up with Yours and that's great.

But no matter what, there's waiting. The agonizing waiting game. 

Does your timing match up with His? 

His is the one that goes. 

And it's the best timing there ever was. 

I understand that.

Doesn't change how hard it is though. 

We wait. Whatever answer you're looking for on whatever subject, you wait. 

How do we wait?

How do we learn to cope in the waiting?

Can we learn to enjoy the waiting?

Is it even possible NOT to spend all your time hating the waiting while missing out on what's currently in front of us? 

I do that.

I miss what God has for me now sometimes. Cause I focus on what I don't have.

My goal is to learn to enjoy the waiting. Embrace the waiting. 

Goals for this semester:

--make more friends that aren't my "typical go to"

--learn alot 

--exert myself past my limits

--grow

--embrace the waiting

--love. love the people of birmingham well. any and all of them

--go on adventures

--pray more than i complain

I'm learning not to settle.

In a lot of areas of life. 

Don't settle.

Dream big. 

Dream dreams the Lord dreamt. 

Expect great things. 

The Lord has great things for me and you. 

Pray boldly. Speak boldly. Act boldly.

Although the Lord knows the desires of our hearts, He placed them there, let's try and pray more boldly. Tell the Lord what you want, ask the Lord for big things. Tell the Lord what's hurting you. 

You can talk to the Lord as if you're talking to a good friend. 

He's eager to listen as if He's never heard it before. 

Boy, I love that about Him. 

He's a good one.
