I woke up about 7am and got ready for church.
We did our normal Panera Bread run and headed to church.
I got prayed for by some wonderful people of my church.
Then I received a journal and a very sweet goodbye.
I am so stinkin blessed by them! I love Shades Valley Community Church!
I also got to hear my (original) pastor - who recently moved - speak.. which I LOVED!
It was SVCC's 20th anniversary and it's SO cool to know that I've been there for about 18 of those years.
We had a potluck lunch to celebrate!
Then we headed to my house to have a little going away get together.
It was so great to see all my friends and family and hang out like old times!
Afterwards the family hung out, took a couple pictures and just spent time together.
Sam was sitting with me in my room and asks, "Kat, I'm going to miss you. How long will you be gone?"
Oh my heart broke into a million pieces! I got SO sad about that point. It just became really.. real that I'd miss 6 months of all my siblings lives.. plus my nieces and nephews who live with my family. Gosh, so, so hard. But I know God is in control! And these things just have to happen.. we gotta grow up just like the little ones do.
The night ended with three little munchkins sleeping in my room.
And that was my last Sunday at home!
